Refund policy

Returns 
Our policy lasts 14 days from the date of delivery. If 14 days have gone by since the date of delivery, we, unfortunately, cannot offer you a refund or exchange. 

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. This means that any pen that has been inked or modified in any way cannot be returned.

To complete your return, a return merchandise authorization (RMA) is required prior to returning the item in addition to providing proof of purchase.

Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

Note that there is a restocking fee of 15% that will be deducted from the refund for returns. The restocking fee covers unrecoverable costs such as non-refundable credit card processor transaction fees and the processes that the team undergoes to inspect products and preparation to ensure that the product quality and presentation is adequate for the next customer acquiring the item. 

If you are approved for the refund, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. 
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. 
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. 
If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at info@urushipen.com.

Sale items
If a return item was a sale item, you will only be refunded the amount paid at the time of purchase minus the restocking fee.

Exchanges (if applicable) 
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at info@urushipen.com to receive further instructions.

Shipping 
To return your product, send us an email at info@urushipen.com to receive further shipping instructions.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary. 

Due to the high dollar value of our products, UrushiPen.com highly encourages the use of trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance when shipping products back. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
